Vineyard: Organically farmed 40-60 year-old vines planted in calcareous clay @400-700m elevation.
Tasting Notes: Silky, creamy texture with notes of meyer lemon and mineral. The finish is dry with delicate acidity.
Food Pairing: Grilled baby octopus with aioli, tortilla espanola, fresh goat cheese
Production Notes: Fermented with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel with 12 hours skin contact. Aged 5 months on the fine lees in stainless steel before being lightly filtered at bottling. Minimal sulfites.

Bio: Vendrell & Canela started making wine in 2011 after falling in love while studying winemaking in Tarragona. Canela’s family has grown vines in Conca de Barberà for generations and works with vineyards all over to source fruit from older, organically farmed vineyards.
